Neil Petersen

Neil’s practice focuses on guiding the firm’s business and finance clients as they navigate strategic transactions and other critical business life cycle events. He regularly advises private businesses as they form, grow, and evolve. This work includes sophisticated transactions such as mergers and acquisitions, debt financing and equity transfers, as well as general business governance and business succession planning matters. In addition to his work with the firm’s private business clients, Neil has extensive experience working with several regional and national lending institutions in a variety of commercial finance transactions including real estate and construction loans, general asset-based, and equipment lending facilities. Regardless of the transaction type, Neil’s familiarity with complex issues coupled with a practical but detail-oriented approach enables him to curate strategies uniquely tailored to address his clients’ needs.

When not working with clients, Neil actively serves as a board member for a number of local non-profits and can be found most weekends on the sidelines coaching his daughters’ youth sports teams.
